22 Infantry Division Conducts a Netball Training Session for School Students

22 Infantry Division organized a netball training session during 05 to 09 April 2024 at the 22 Infantry Division playground with the participation of school students of Trincomalee district.

This training programme was conducted under the guidence of the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, Major General P.A.M Peiris RSP USP psc.

Mrs. W.A Sanjeevani Wanasingha, the spouse of the General Officer Commanding, a former national netball player conducted the programme with the assistance of the Army netball players.

Senior Officers, Officers, Principals, sports teachers of schools, sports Officer of Trincomalee district were also present during the closing ceremony of the training programme.
