A Dengue prevention programme, actively supported by 6 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) troops got underway in the Divisional Hospital premises in Maha Divulwewa on Monday (15) with the co-operation of the hospital staff.
Similarly, a Shramadana campaign organized by the troops of 15 Sri Lanka Light Infantry at Galmetiyawa Vidyalaya premises in Trincomalee kicked off on the same day (15).
Both projects received the green light from the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division Major General Samantha Silva, and both projects were carried out under the supervision of the Commander 223 Infantry Brigade Brigadier Shantha Perera.
