The newly-appointed General Officer Commanding of the 22 Division Major General Samantha Silva made his first official visits to the 221 & 222 Brigade HQs and other under command Battalions during 27-29 January.
The General Officer Commanding was warmly welcomed by respective Brigade Commanders and Battalion Commanders of the 22 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, 5 (V) Sri Lanka Artillery, 2 (V) Gajaba Regiment and 17 Sri Lanka National Guard on his arrival at respective places.
