213 Infantry Brigade together with Government Authorities Holds a ‘Bakmaha Ulela’

213 Infantry Brigade in collaboration with Divisional Secretariat and local Business Community in Medawachchiya organized a ‘Bakmaha Ulela’ coinciding with Sinhala and Tamil New Year on 20 April 2024 at the Public Stadium, Medawachchiya with traditional folk games and entertainment.

This festive occasion was featured under the guidance of Major General H.H.K.S.S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division with the close supervision of Colonel P.M de Silva RSP USP the Brigade Commander of 213 Infantry Brigade.

The General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event concluded with an enchanting musical performance, sharing spirit of the New Year festivities.

Divisional Secretary, Medawachchiya, Bussinessmen, Officers, Other Ranks and residents in the area participated in the event.
