2,123 Persons after Quarantining Leaves Centres - NOCPCO

As of this morning (29), a total of 1,890 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 40 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 1850 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 337 from Gampaha District, 268 from Kalutara District, 198 from Ratnapura District and 1,047 from different other Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (29), a total of 255,507 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 149,009 were reported after the New Year.

By Tuesday (29) morning (past 24 hours), 2,251 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. 41 deaths have been reported including 24 males and 17 females on 27 June 2021.

By Tuesday (29) morning, 2,123 persons have left 24 QCs after completion of their quarantining process. As of this morning (29), 7,317 persons in 73 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine.

The latest that came under isolation this morning (29) includes 100 Watte in Galoborella in Gampaha District and Sinhapura, except the Sanhinda Sevana Housing Complex in Colombo District.

By this morning (29), Grama Niladhari (GN) Divisions and Police Division areas were completely removed from isolation including Kaludamada, Hapugasthalawa, Weerapura and Pahala Gorakaoya i GN Divisions in Nuwara Eliya District, Yatihena GN Division except Polhena Road, Lake view Road, Ayojana mandala Road in Biyagama Police Division and Siyabalapewatta GN Division except Upul Wasantha avenue, Dewala Road, Ariyadasa Vithanage avenue, end of Ariyadasa Vithanage avenue and Siyabalape Watta Kaduboda Road In Gampaha District, Bolthuduwa Village in Gonagala GN Division in Iduruwa police division in Galle District, New Walathapitiya in Samanthurei Police Division in Ampara District, Meerawodi (East), Meerawodi (West),Manchakolai Baduriya GN Division in Valachchena Police Division in Batticoloa Distict.
