1,958 Recovered Patients Leave for Home - NOCPCO

As of this morning (3), a total of 2,420 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 38 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 2,382 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 668 from Gampaha District, 286 from Colombo District, 274 from Kalutara District and 1,154 others from different Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (3), a total of 313,768 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 203,668 were reported after the New Year.

By Tuesday (3) morning (past 24 hours), 1,958 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 01 August, 63 more deaths have been reported including 36 males and 27 females.

As of Tuesday (3), 3,917 persons in 65 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Tuesday (3) morning, 817 persons have left 22 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.
