19 Sri Lanka National Guard (19 SLNG) troops recently underwent a firefighting training program in preparation for emergency situations. The program was held on 15 March 2024 at the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal, Kotagala.
The training programme included lectures on fire causes, control mechanisms and extinguisher types, followed by a demonstration and practical training session.
One Officer and 20 Other Ranks of 19 SLNG participated in the programme under the supervision of 112 Infantry Brigade at the invitation of the Depot Superintendent of Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal, Kotagala.
