Responding to a request, 15 Drone Regiment troops of the Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) of the 142 Infantry Brigade under the Security Force HQ-West on 29 April 2023 completely cleaned up the Meegoda Meditation Center compound, ridding it of all wild bushes and collecting pollutants.
At the request of Chief Incumbent of Meegoda Meditation Center, troops under the close supervision of the Commander, 142 Infantry Brigade and the Commanding Officer, 15 Drone Regiment of the Sri Lanka Artillery during the project cleaned the compound, collected pollutants and disposed them. The Commander, Security Forces-West has given the green light to the project.
