A group of 15 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment (15 SLA) troops as part of their community-oriented projects, cleaned up the Provincial Ayurvedic Hospital at Meegoda since the hospital was facing shortage of labourers in the wake of worsening Dengue threats.
The project was carried out on the directions of Major General Deepal Pussella, Commander, Security Forces -West and Brigadier Ravindra Jayasinghe, Brigade Commander, 142 Infantry Brigade. At the same time, Lieutenant Colonel W.A.S.M Wijayalath closely supervised the work.
The campaign was initiated in response to a request made by the Director at Provincial Ayurvedic Hospital.
