As of this morning (7), a total of 726 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. All of them are locally-identified ones, including the majority 197 from Badulla district, 116 from Colombo district, 101 from Gampaha district and 312 others from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
By this morning (7), a total of 68,575 persons, inclusive of 64,580 of the fish market have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 62,593 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 5,631 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.
In the past 24 hours, 1,133 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. 8 more deaths have been reported from Kochchikade, Kadawatha, Moratuwa, Kelaniya, Colombo 14, Colombo 13, Maharagama and Mundalama areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 351by this morning (7).
As of this morning (7), 8,063 persons in 87 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (6), 14,749 PCR tests have been conducted.Sports News | Nike
