Troops of the 142 Infantry Brigade HQ under the Security Force HQ - West voluntarily donated their blood to the Blood Donation camp at St. John’s College, Nugegoda organized in collaboration with Narahenpita National Blood Centre on 04 May, a day before ‘Vesak’ Full Moon Poya day.
A total 80 Army personnel including Officers and Other Ranks of the 142 Infantry Brigade donated their blood during the camp.
