Troops of the 15 Sri Lanka Artillery (15 SLA) and 8 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (8 SLLI) recently offered parade training assitance sessions for students at Pitipana Kanishta Vidyalaya, Watareka Kanishta Vidyalaya and Siri Perakumba Maha Vidyalaya, Lunugama on request as per the instructions of Major General Deepal Pussella, Commander, Security Forces- West.
15 SLA troops trained the students at Pitipana Kanishta Vidyalaya and Watareka Kanishta Vidyalaya on Friday (March 03) under the close supervision of Brigadier Ravindra Jayasinghe, Commander, 142 Infantry Brigade and Lieutenant Colonel W.A.S.M Wijayalath, Commanding Officer, 15 SLA.
Likewise, troops of the 8 SLLI conducted a parade training session for students at Siri Perakumba Maha Vidyalaya, Lunugama, under the supervision of Brigadier Bandula Kariyawasam, Commander, 141 Infantry Brigade and Commanding Officer, 8 SLLI on Thursday (March 02).
Major General Roshan Jayamanna, General Officer Commanding, 14 Infantry Division provided guidelines and instructions for both projects.
