14 SLSR Troops Make Desks & Chairs Needed for Pre School Kids

14 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops of the 641 Infantry Brigade of the 64 Infantry Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Mullaittivu, taking an own interest provided a few desks and chairs, needed for kids learning at the ‘Agastian’ pre-school in Karuwalagaswewa Grama Seva Division in Mullaittivu District on Friday (25).

Those troops using own technical skills made two desks and eight chairs for this community-oriented project as those kids were short of necessary furniture in the pre-school.

Two Officers and Other Ranks of the 14 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment took the initiative in this regard with the blessings of the Brigade Commander of the 641 Infantry Brigade.

Pre-school teachers and parents appreciated the Army’s thoughtfulness and support in this connection.
