12 Infantry Division Provides Essential School Accessories to Needy Students in Wellawaya

Under the guidance of Major General C.S. Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG, the General Officer Commanding, 12 Infantry Division, the troops of the Division conducted a donation program on 15 March 2024 to provide essential school accessories for 54 needy students at Yawwana Kumarapura Primary School in Wellawaya.

The General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division graced the event as the chief guest. The Directors of Affinity Foundation, Sri Lanka, Mr. Dinesh Gadiarachchi and Mr. Michael David, provided the monetary sponsorship for the event.

Deputy Director of Zonal Education Office, Wellawaya, the Commander of the 122 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, school principal and the staff of the school participated in the event.
