12 Infantry Division in collaboration with ‘Hope for Life Lanka’ Foundation provided school accessories, tailoring costs for school uniforms and toys for 30 students at Munasinghe Primary School, Monaragala on 06 April 2024.
At the same time, 30 families of the children and 15 civil employees serving at the 121 Infantry Brigade, received a pack of dry rations each worth more than Rs. 6500.00. Moreover, all the beneficiaries were served a delicious lunch with the sponsorship of the same foundation.
Major General C.S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG, General Officer Commanding, 12 Infantry Division together with Mr. Gamini Baranage, the Chairman of ‘Hope for Life Lanka’ Foundation graced the occasion as the chief guest. The Commander, 121 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were also present during the occasion.
