To coincide with the 10th anniversary of Mirijjawila Botanical Garden, a blood donation programme, organized by the Mirijjawila Botanical Garden’s Welfare Association took place at its auditorium on Wednesday (20).
In response to a request made by the Mirijjawila Botanical Garden’s Welfare Association Major General G. R. H Dias, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 12 Division gave intimates to his troops to help the project.
A total of 16 Army personnel including 4 officers and 12 other ranks donated their blood and supported the event.
