111 Brigade with Foundation's Sponsorship Provides Relief Packs

One more initiative of the Army in close collaboration with the Thalagala Sri Siddhartha Foundation of Ven. Thalagala Sri Sumanaratana Nayake Thero and Tan Ngak Buay & Kee Meng Lang Foundation of Singapore distributed a total of 130 dry ration packs among the poor, resident in the general area of Doluwa - Kandy on Thursday (25).

This project was organized at Doluwa, Gampola by 111 Brigade troops under command to the 11 Division HQ of the Security Force HQ - Central. A group of representative donors also joined the distribution.

Brigadier Rohitha Rathnayake, Commander 111 Brigade, Divisional Secretary for Doluwa, Assistant Divisional Secretary for Doluwa, Civil Affairs Officer of the 111 Brigade and beneficiaries attended the event.
