Major General Rohitha Aluvihare, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 11 Infantry Division, recently paid a formal visit to the 4 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (4 SLLI) camp at Kiralagolla, Dambulla on Monday (March 13) at the request of Lieutenant Colonel W.D.D.R Weerapura, Commanding Officer (CO), 4 SLLI.
Prior to the unit visit, the GOC inspected Bowathenna and Moragahakanda power plants where 4 SLLI troops are stationed providing security to the locations. Later, the Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by the CO, 4 SLLI after he was saluted in a Guard Turnout at the entrance.
During the short stay, the GOC addressed the troops and sat for a group photograph with the troops. Before departing from the premises, the day’s guest penned down some thoughts and compliments in the 4 SLLI visitors’ book.
