The outgoing General Officer Commanding, 11 Division, Major General Jaliya Senarathne was honoured on Wednesday (02) at 11 Division Headquarters in Pallekele during a formal farewell ceremony.
Troops of the 10 Battalion Gajaba Regiment presented a Guard Turn out at the entrance to the 11 Division HQ upon his arrival at the premises after he was extended a welcome by Senior Officers. The outgoing Major General Jaliya Senarathne in his address to the troops thanked All Ranks for the generous assistance and support, extended to him during his tenure. The day's simple programme culminated with an all rank tea arrangement.
