The troops of 10 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (10 SLSC) completed the construction of the house for a family of a deceased Non-Commissioned Officer who suddenly passed away during an accident. The house was vested in them on 22 March 2024.
The ‘Api Wenuwen Api’ trust funded the construction project and 10 SLSC provided the much-required workforce assistance for the project. Major T.T.N. Mendis USP, the Officiating Commanding Officer of 10 SLSC graced the occasion as the chief guest for the house warming ceremony.
Additionally, the troops donated a stock of dry rations and school accessories to the family.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were also present during the event.
