Troops of the 1 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) under command to the 52 Division and 521 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) extending their community projects renovated lavatories of Madihe Pannaseeha Vidyalaya, Puttur, during the school vacation and handed over to the school authorities on Monday (3). The renovation work was carried out under the guidance of Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J), Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi.
The renovation was funded by Dharma Vijaya Foundation at Colombo 7.
The renovation work was begun to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the 1 VIR serving under the SFHQ-J.
