1 Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC), coincident with its 70th Anniversary provided a stock of essentials including confectionery items for little children to the Leela Jayasekara Child Development Center at Moratuwa on Saturday (27).
The donation included dry rations, such as rice, dhal, green gram, spices, milk powder, etc and some confectioneries, needed for children. In addition, several pieces of essential sanitary equipment were also gifted to the Centre.
Lieutenant Colonel C.S Demuni, Commanding Officer, 1 Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps, together with several officers joined the donation programme.
