The 12th contingent of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) departed the country to serve at the Level-2 SRIMED Hospital under the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) on 13 March 2026.
The 11th contingent of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), serving at the SRIMED Level 2 UN Hospital in Bor, South Sudan, comprising 10 Officers and 41 Other Ranks, arrived in Sri Lanka on 11 March 2026 following the successful completion of their one-year mission. Meanwhile, the remaining 05 Officers and 04 Other Ranks remained in South Sudan as the rear party and are expected to arrive in due course.

The 16th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) conducted its first Contingent-Owned Equipment (COE) inspection for the year 2026 on 16 February 2026. The inspection was conducted by a team of 13 officials from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) at Sri Base in Naqoura.
A seven-member United Nations Mobile Training Team (UN MTT), comprising specialists from the German Bundeswehr Air Force, arrived in Sri Lanka on 26 November 2025 to conduct a feasibility assessment for Advanced Field Training for Sri Lankan Army personnel deployed on UN peace support operations.
A reconnaissance team comprising seven officials from the German Armed Forces arrived in Sri Lanka on 26 November 2025, following an invitation extended by Sri Lanka to conduct Mobile Training Teams for Sri Lankan peacekeepers.

The 16th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) successfully completed its second and final Contingent-Owned Equipment (COE) inspection for the year 2025. The inspection was carried out on 19 November 2025 at Sri Base in Naqoura by a team of 15 officials from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
The 16th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) participated in the International Cultural & Food Festival under the theme ‘Flavours without Borders’, held at the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Headquarters in Naqoura on 23 October 2025.

The United Nations Civil Military Coordination Course (UNCIMIC) Number 06 was conducted from 08 to 19 September 2025 at the Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL). The closing ceremony of the course took place on 19 September 2025.
