The 11th contingent of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) has embarked on its mission to serve at the Level-2 SRIMED Hospital under the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) on Thursday (13).
The 10th contingent of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) at SRIMED Level 2 UN Hospital in Bor, South Sudan, comprising 9 Officers and 42 troops, arrived in Sri Lanka on 11 February 2025, following the successful completion of their one-year mission. Meanwhile, the remaining 07 Officers and 05 troops stayed in South Sudan as a rear party and are expected to arrive in due course.
