The Sri Lanka Army, under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the well-being of its veterans by organising a medical camp for disabled military personnel. This significant initiative is scheduled to take place from 20th to 24th January 2025 at Ranaviru Sevana, Ragama, to address the healthcare needs of Army veterans in and around the Colombo province.


Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commandant (Overlooking) of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF), visited the 5th (V) Battalion of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry, 2nd (V) Battalion of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 4th (V) Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, and the 1st Sri Lanka Rifle Corps on 16th January 2025.


Under the guidance of Commander of the Army, Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commandant (Overlooking) of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF), addressed SLAVF Officers on 21st January 2025, focusing on aligning military efforts with the “Clean Sri Lanka” initiative, launched by HE the President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
