20 வது இலங்கை சிங்கப் படையணி படையினரால் 2024 ஒக்டோபர் 20 ம் திகதி மொனராகலை படல்கும்புரவிலுள்ள ஸ்ரீ சித்தார்த்த தர்ம பாடசாலைக்கு புத்தகம் மற்றும் எழுதுபொருட்கள் நன்கொடையாக வழங்கும் நிகழ்வு ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது.

Colonel P.W.R.W.M.J.R.B.W Pallekumbura assumed duties as the new Commandant of the Battalion Training School (BTS) in Alankulam on 16 October 2024.

The troops of the 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) organized a book and stationery donation programme on 20 October 2024 at Sri Sidhartha Dhamma School in Badalkumbura, Monaragala.

Following the conceptual initiative of Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, the troops of 1st Regiment of the Sri Lanka Riffle Corps (1 SLRC) under 11 Infantry Division successfully completed the construction of a new house for a deserving family in Kalalpitiya, Matale on 19 October 2024 in line with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army.

ශ්‍රී ලංකා යුද්ධ හමුදාවේ 75 වන සංවත්සරය නිමිත්තෙන් යුද්ධ හමුදාධිපති ලුතිනන් ජෙනරල් විකුම් ලියනගේ ආර්ඩබ්ලිව්පී ආර්එස්පී එන්ඩීයූ ගේ උපදෙස් මත 11 පාබල සේනාංකය යටතේ ස්ථාපිත 1 ශ්‍රී ලංකා රයිෆල් බලකායේ භටපිරිස් විසින් මාතලේ, කලල්පිටිය ප්‍රදේශයේ නිවාස අවශ්‍යතා සහිත පවුලක් වෙනුවෙන් ඉදිකර දෙනු ලැබූ නව නිවස 2024 ඔක්තෝබර් මස 19 දින ප්‍රථිලාභීන් වෙත භාරදෙන ලදී.

The 56 Infantry Division marked its 27th Anniversary on 17 October 2024 at its Division Headquarters under the guidance of Major General S. Kasthurimudali RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC).

Under the guidance of Mrs. Anupama Rathnayake, the Chairperson of the Corps of Engineer Services Seva Vanitha Branch (CES-SVB), the Engineer Services Central Workshop (ESCWKSP) conducted a dry ration pack donation programme on 16 October 2024 at ESCWKSP premises in Habarakada, Homagama.

Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC), made an official visit to the 7 SLAWC, 2 (V) SLAWC and 3 (V) SLAWC on 13 and 14 October 2024, prior to his retirement from the Sri Lanka Army.

Major General R.M.P.S.B Rathnayake ndc, the Logistics Commander of Security Force Headquarters (West), was invited to the Office of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, on 21 October 2024, along with his family members, prior to his retirement from the Sri Lanka Army after a distinguished 34-year service.

The Advance Disaster Response Training Course No. 12 was successfully conducted from 30 September to 16 October 2024 at the Sri Lanka Army Centre for Disaster Response Training (SLACDRT) in Gampola.
