The Advance Disaster Response Training Course No. 12 was successfully conducted from 30 September to 16 October 2024 at the Sri Lanka Army Centre for Disaster Response Training (SLACDRT) in Gampola.

A total of 57 participants enhanced their skills and knowledge in disaster response and management.

Captain N.A.S.S. Napagoda from the Sri Lanka Artillery was awarded First in Order of Merit for his exceptional performance during the course.

The closing ceremony was graced by Colonel R.M.H.P.K. Rathnayake, Commandant of SLACDRT, and he highlighted the importance of disaster preparedness and commended the dedication of the participants.
