The ‘Next Gen’ Premier League Hockey Championship, organized by Sri Lanka Next Gen Hockey Development Society took place on 09 November 2024 at the Artificial Hockey Turf, Colombo.

The National Cadet Corps (NCC), the country’s school level Cadet training entity which operates under the Ministry of Defence together with the Ministry of Education, staged the Passing out Parade (PoP) of Hermann Loos & De Soysa Challenge Trophies - 2024 at the NCC Training Centre, Rantembe on 10 November 2024. The event was graced by Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army as the Chief Guest.

Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army, made an official visit to the Army Base Hospital in Kandy on 09 November 2024 to review its operational aspects and receive updates on its current functionality.

The 7 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) celebrated its 32nd Anniversary on 03 November 2024 with a series of events at their headquarters under the guidance of Major A.A.D.U.W. Arangalle RWP RSP, the Commanding Officer of 7 VIR.
