The 7 (V) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps constructed a new house for a deserving family in Maha Alagamuwa, Kekirawa.

In line with its commitment to maintaining financial discipline and transparency, the Sri Lanka Army organised an Audit Awareness Programme at the Army Headquarters today (06 November), under the guidance of Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Sri Lanka Army. The workshop, conducted by key resource personnel from the Department of Management Audit, was attended by Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, Principal Staff Officers and Directors who are directly involved in budget planning, procurement, and financial oversight within the Sri Lanka Army.

The Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) conducted a dry ration pack donation programme on 30 October 2024 at the Multi-Functional Hall of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF).

The 14 Rocket Regiment of the Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA), in collaboration with Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch and the Silvermill Foundation, successfully organized a donation program on 24 October 2024 at Kalankuttiya. The program aimed to promote family welfare and sustainability by distributing dry ration packets to 20 pregnant mothers and 700 coconut saplings to 80 farmers.

Under the guidance of Major General Y.A.B.M. Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander Security Forces (Central) and Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), and the supervision of Mrs. Darshaniee Yahampath, Chairperson of the SLLI Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI-SVB), a book donation programme was conducted for 21 students of Walagampura Maha Vidyalaya, Ampara, on 01 November 2024 at the RHQ SLLI.

The Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB) held its monthly meeting on 29 October 2024 at the MIR Regimental Centre, Dambulla.

Major General A.K Rajapakshe RSP, Master General Ordnance and the Colonel Commandant of the SLASC, together with Mrs. Chandi Rajapakse, the Chairperson of SLASC-SVB, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Manisha Kotalawala, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SLCMP-SVB), a donation programme was organized at Mihindu Seth Medura, Aththidiya, with the participation of the Rotaract Club of the Royal Institute in Colombo.

The newly renovated Chairperson's Office of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB) was officially inaugurated by Mrs. Nilanthi Wanasinghe, Chairperson of MIR-SVB, on 29 October 2024 at the MIR Regimental Centre premises.

Major General Y.A.B.M. Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander of Security Forces - Central (SF - Central), visited the 12 Infantry Division, 121 Infantry Brigade, 122 Infantry Brigade, 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 18 Gemunu Watch, 12 Gajaba Regiment, and 3 Sri Lanka National Guard on 30 and 31 October 2024.
