Brigadier K.D.M.L. Samaradiwakara RWP RSP ndc psc of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment assumed duties as the new Officiating Director Training at the Directorate of Training, Army Headquarters, on 05 November 2024 during a brief religious ceremony.

The new Officiating Director symbolically placed his signature on a formal document, marking the acceptance of the appointment at an auspicious time.

He succeeds Major General K.M.P.S.B. Kulatunga RSP ndc psc. Brigadier K.D.M.L. Samaradiwakara RWP RSP ndc psc previously served as the Director of Army Band and Performing Arts.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the Directorate of Training were present at the occasion.
