Under the guidance of Major General R.P.A.R.P Rajapaksha RSP, General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division, and the supervision of the Commander, 541 Infantry Brigade, the troops of 10 (V) Gemunu Watch organized the Katina Pinkama at Mathota Rajamaha Vihara Temple, Mannar, on 19 and 20 October 2024.

Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army inaugurated the newly constructed Welfare Facility Complex at Maitland Place on 30 October 2024. The President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit accompanied by several ladies of Officers and Other Ranks also attended the event.

Brigadier M.P.N.A Muthumala USP psc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 56 Infantry Division, visited the 563 Infantry Brigade, 3 Special Forces Training School and companies under 7 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), 11 Gemunu Watch (GW) on 30 October 2024.

The Defence Attaché (DA) of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka, Senior Colonel Zhou Bo, along with Deputy DA, Colonel Gao Bin, paid a courtesy call on Major General W.P.A.D.W. Nanayakkara, RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, at Army Headquarters on 01 November 2024.

The Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL-SVB) donated 50 essential maternity aid packs to pregnant mothers of SLACAL, as well as to mothers from surrounding villages in Karandeniya at the Regimental Headquarters on 26 October 2024.

Under the guidance of Major General W.P. Kariyawasam, the General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division, a lecture on the "Role and Tasks of the Corps of Engineer Services" was conducted for the division’s troops on 25 October 2024 at the Division Headquarters in Punani.

Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B. Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) and Colonel of the Regiment of the Gajaba Regiment (GR), visited the 2(V) GR and 5(V) GR on 26 October 2024.

Major General G.L.S.W. Liyanage USP psc, the newly appointed Commander of Logistics Command, Security Forces (Jaffna), made an official visit to the 4 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) on 29 October 2024.

Under the guidance of Brigadier K.D.M.L. Samaradiwakara RWP RSP ndc psc, Director of the Directorate of Army Bands and Performing Arts, a lecture was conducted for the troops of the Directorate on 30 October 2024.

Under the guidance of Major General W.M.S.C.K Wanasinghe RSP USP, Commander of the 21 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR), the MIR conducted its Officers Training Day 2024-II at the Regimental Centre on 29 October 2024.
