A lecture on First Aid was conducted on 05 November 2024 at the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS). Major J.A.V.W. Jayathunga, the Second in Command of Army Base Hospital Diyatalawa, along with his team, conducted this informative session.

The Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) conducted a dry ration pack donation programme on 30 October 2024 at the Multi-Functional Hall of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF).

The plant is intended to improve access to safe drinking water for the school and surrounding community.
