SLAOC-SVB Organize a Community Assistance Programme at "Mawpiya Sewana" Elders' Home

Under the guidance of Mrs. Iresha Fernando, the Chairperson of Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC-SVB) in collaboration with the School of Ordnance, conducted a community assistance programme at "Mawpiya Sewana" Elders' Home in Horana on 01 October 2024 in conjunction with the upcoming 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army and the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, in line with the World Elders’ Day.

Third Phase of SLLI-SVB Housing Project Supports Soldiers' Housing Needs

The third phase of the housing project, conducted by the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI-SVB), took place on 3 October 2024 at the Regimental Centre, under the guidance of Major General G.M.N Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, Commander of Security Forces (Central) and Colonel of the Regiment of SLLI. Mrs. Vajira Perera, Chairperson of SLLI-SVB, donated Rs. 400,000 to support the construction of two houses for soldiers, with Rs. 200,000 allocated per house.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL-SVB), a donation programme was organized by 1 SLACAL to provide essential maternity items worth Rs. 20,000.00 to 32 pregnant spouses of soldiers in the regiment. MIR - SVB Hosts Cleaning Programme at the Home of Elders in Dambulla

A cleaning programme at the Home of Elders in Dambulla was conducted on 28 September 2024, under the guidance of Mrs Nilanthi Wanasinghe, Chairperson of the Mechanized Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR - SVB). The event, coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, also included an entertainment programme and refreshments for 57 adults at elders’ home.
