SLLI - SVB Inaugurates Newly Built Home for SLLI Soldier

Under the guidance of Major General G.M.N. Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, Quarter Master General and Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), and Mrs. Vajira Perera, Chairperson of the SLLI Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI - SVB), a significant housing project commenced on 06 July 2024.

Members of MIR-SVB Visit ‘Abimansala III’ at Pangolla

Under the guidance of Mrs. Priyanga Wickramasinghe, the Chairperson of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB), members of the MIR-SVB visited the ‘Abimansala III’ Wellness Resort in Pangolla on 31 August 2024 to inquire into the wellbeing of the resident War Heroes undergoing rehabilitation and recuperation.

Housing Project for SLLI War Heroes

Under the guidance of Major General G.M.N Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, the Quarter Master General and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), and supervision of Mrs. Vajira Perera, the chairperson of the SLLI Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI - SVB), the second phase of the housing project was held on 07 September 2024.

SLACAL - SVB Provides Aid to Soldier's Family

Under the guidance of Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL - SVB), a dry ration pack and a cash donation of Rs. 50,000 were presented to the family of a SLACAL soldier on 04 September 2024. The soldier is currently receiving treatments in hospital for a severe ailment.

GW-SVB Hosts Children’s Day Celebration

The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch (GW-SVB) organised the "Junior Highlanders Children's Day" on 01 September 2024 at the GW Regimental Centre to mark World Children's Day.

SLAWC-SVB Conducts a Blood Donation Programme

Under the guidance of Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and supervision of Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAWC-SVB), a Blood Donation Programme was organised on 26 August 2024 at the Regimental Centre of SLAWC, Borella, coinciding with the 75th Army Day.
