Under the guidance of Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL - SVB), a dry ration pack and a cash donation of Rs. 50,000 were presented to the family of a SLACAL soldier on 04 September 2024. The soldier is currently receiving treatments in hospital for a severe ailment.

The Chairperson together with the Secretary of SLACAL - SVB, visited the soldier’s family in Diwulapitiya on the same day.
