The 2024 Inter-Battalion Football Competition, hosted by the 11 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), was held at the Regimental Centre SLSR on 09 September 2024. The championship title was secured by the 1 SLSR, while the runner-up position was claimed by the 21 SLSR.

Army Players Secure Five Bronze Medals at 37th World Sepak Takraw Tournament

Four male and four female players from the Sri Lanka Army represented the Sri Lanka National Sepak Takraw pool at the 37th World Sepak Takraw Tournament in Thailand, securing five Bronze medals across eight categories. The tournament, officially known as the ISTAF World Sepaktakraw Championship 2024, took place from 01 - 08 September 2024, as part of the prestigious Thai King’s Cup, a prominent event in the sepak takraw calendar.
