The 52 Infantry Division celebrated its 29th Anniversary on 09 September 2024 at the Division Headquarters amidst military formalities under the guidance of Major General P.R. Pathiravithana USAWC psc, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 52 Infantry Division.

To commence the anniversary celebrations, the GOC was honoured with a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour. Then, he planted a sapling and posed for a group photograph. The celebrations concluded with a musical event, where a large number of troops enjoyed performances of singing and dancing.
