The familiarization training for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) equipment, donated by China, concluded on 28 October 2024 with a closing ceremony.

The 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) celebrated its 16th anniversary on 22 October 2024 with a series of events under the guidance of Major D.M.P. Suraweera RSP, Commanding Officer of the 20 SLSR, at the Battalion Headquarters in Katharagama.

Under the guidance of Major General K.A.U. Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding of the 11 Infantry Division, a Cricket Tournament took place on 21 and 29 October 2024 at the 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) Ground.

The Army Inter-Regiment Elle Championship – 2024, organized by the Sri Lanka Army Elle Committee, concluded successfully at Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium on 25 October 2024, showcasing the skills of over 300 players from twelve regiments.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Hansika Mahalekam, the Chairperson of Military Intelligence Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (MIC-SVB) a scholarship donation programme was held for children of deceased War Heroes on 24 October 2024 at the MIC Regimental Centre, Karandeniya.

Under the guidance of Mrs H.G Swarnalatha, the Chairperson of Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAPC-SVB), along with all members of SLAPC-SVB, provided lunch for elders at Jawaththa Elders Home, Kaluthara on 21 October 2024.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Hansika Mahalekam, the Chairperson of Military Intelligence Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (MIC-SVB), an alms-giving programme was held at the Warusavithana Elders' Home in Ambalangoda on 26 October 2024. The event was held under the sponsorship of Mrs. Nilupa Mahathanthila, the Secretary of MIC-SVB for 18 elderly residents.

The traditional Katina Pooja ceremony of Sri Naga Viharaya in Jaffna took place on 26 and 27 October 2024 under the guidance of Shasthrapathi, Venerable Meegahajandure Sirivimala Thero, with the support of the 51 Infantry Division.

A new housing project for Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) War Heroes was initiated under the direction of Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander Security Forces (Central) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) with the supervision of Mrs. Darshanee Yahampath, the chairperson of SLLI Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI-SVB).

Members of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL-SVB) conducted a visit to Abhimansala II, Kamburupitiya, under the supervision of Mrs.Varuni Kulatunge, Chairperson of SLACAL-SVB and under the guidance of Major General S.A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Commander Security Forces (East) and Colonel Commandant of SLACAL on 25 October 2024.
