Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, graced voucher donation programme held on 10 April 2026 at the Army Headquarters to assist the Army personnel affected by the recent ‘Ditwah’ cyclone.The initiative, conceptualised by the Army Chief and organised under the supervision of Brigadier R.M.C. Rathnayake RWP RSP USP ndc, Director Welfare, aimed to provide financial relief to affected soldiers.
The troops of 24 Infantry Division participated in a blood donation campaign, under the guidance of Major General W.M.N.K.D. Bandara RWP RSP USP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division.
