The Senior Non-Commissioned Officers' (SNCOs') Leadership and Career Development Course No – 59, conducted by the Combat Training School (CTS) - Ampara was concluded with a certificate-awarding ceremony on 08 April 2026.
The closing address was delivered by Brigadier A.K.C.S. De Silva RSP ndc, Commandant of CTS.A total of 41 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers successfully completed the course.
Sergeant R.P.R.P. Wijethunga of the 5th Battalion of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers was awarded the Best Student of the course.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Rank instructors participated in the ceremony.
