The SRIMED Level 2 Hospital, Bor in South Sudan celebrated Vesak Poya Day on 12 May 2025.
The event commenced with a Bodhi Pooja Pinkama, followed by a variety of colourful events such as Buddhist visual documentaries, a Vesak lantern display, cultural Bathi Gee singing performances and a Vesak dansela.
Many UNMISS civilian and military officials participated in the event.
