The Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC), conducted Cyber Security and Electronic Warfare Symposium – 2025 under the theme “Securing the Digital Frontline” on 12 September 2025 at the SLSC Officers’ Mess, Panagoda, organized by 2 Signal Brigade in collaboration with the 9 SLSC and 12 SLSC.

Major General T.C.M.G.S.T Cooray RWP RSP USP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 11 Infantry Division graced the Annual War Heroes Tribute Ceremony and Cadet Day of Kingswood College, Kandy as the Chief Guest on 12 September 2025

The Commander, Security Forces - Central Major General K.A.W.N.H Bandaranayake USP, on 13 September 2025, made a courtesy call and interactive session at Security Forces Headquarters (Central) for the troops, who engaged in the rescue mission of the horrific Ella Wellawaya bus accident, to appreciate their brave acts during the tragic accident. The Commander, Security Forces - Central emphasised and appreciated the social responsibility in assisting the general public during such disastrous situations and praised them for their commitment during the mission.

Brigadier B.A.D.R.A.C Wijeyesekera RSP ctf-ndu USACGSC assumed duties as the Director of Training at the Directorate of Training on 11 September 2025 during a formal ceremony at Army Headquarters.

The 3rd Battalion of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (3 SLEME), Minneriya, ceremonially handed over 16 refurbished motorbikes to 16 battalions in the Security Forces – East area on 04 September 2025 at the battalion premises.

The 54 Infantry Division celebrated its 15th Anniversary on 10 September 2025.

The Infantry Training Centre (ITC), Minneriya, celebrated its 41st Anniversary on 25 August 2025. The Commandant paid tribute at the War Heroes’ Memorial, followed by a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour. The day concluded with a musical show and an All Ranks Dinner.

Brigadier A.K.C.S De Silva RSP ndc, assumed duties as the 48th Commandant of the Combat Training School (CTS), Ampara on 30 August 2025 during a brief ceremony.

The 53 Infantry Division (RSF), headquartered at Inamaluwa, Dambulla, commemorated its 30th Anniversary on 24 August 2025, at the Division Headquarters. The event was held in the presence of Major General G.A.T Godewatte RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding 53 Infantry Division (RSF).

Major General K.W Jayaweera USP psc assumed duties as the 17th General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 24 Infantry Division on 26 August 2025 at the Headquarters of the 24 Infantry Division.
