Brigadier A.K.C.S De Silva RSP ndc, assumed duties as the 48th Commandant of the Combat Training School (CTS), Ampara on 30 August 2025 during a brief ceremony.
The new Commandant planted a sapling at the camp premises and posed for a group photograph. Later on, he addressed the troops of CTS and emphasized the importance of everyone’s contribution and support in achieving the objectives, vision and mission of the CTS.
Commanding Officer, Chief Instructor, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
