The 13th Annual Green Building Awards Ceremony, organized by the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka (GBCSL), was held on 19 December 2024 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).

The 591 Infantry Brigade celebrated its 17th Anniversary with a series of events conducted under the guidance of Brigadier M.J. Ubeysekera RSP psc, Commander of the 591 Infantry Brigade, on 13 December 2024.
The Advanced Disaster Response Training Course No. 13 and Intermediate Life-Saving Course No. 06 were conducted from 09 December 2024 to 26 December 2024 at the Sri Lanka Army Centre for Disaster Response Training (SLACDRT) in Gampola.
