GW - SVB Supports War Heroes at Abhimansala - 2

Members of the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch (GW - SVB) conducted a visit to 'Abhimansala-2', a wellness resort in Kamburupitiya on 29 June 2024, under the guidance of Mrs. Manori Welagedara, the Chairperson of GW - SVB. The purpose of the visit was to inquire about the wellbeing and welfare of War Heroes undergoing rehabilitation.

Alms-Giving Programme by SLAC - SVB Marks Poson Poya Day

Coinciding with Poson Poya day, the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAC - SVB), under the guidance of Mrs. Samangka Fernando, Chairperson of SLAC - SVB, conducted an alms-giving programme on 04 July 2024. The event took place at Prannodhaya Maha Pirivena in Nugegoda, where 100 monks were honoured with offerings.

MIR Hosts Poson Dansela at Rangiri Dambulu Raja Maha Viharaya

A Poson Dansela was organized by the Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR) in collaboration with the MIR Seva Vanitha Branch under the guidance of the Colonel of the Regiment of MIR, Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B. Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, on 21 June 2024 in front of the Rangiri Dambulu Raja Maha Viharaya.

4 (V) Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) conducted a donation programme at the Children’s Development Centre in Wattegama on 27 June 2024, under the guidance of Mrs. Iresha Fernando, the Chairperson of the SLAOC - Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC-SVB), and Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander of the Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of the SLAOC.

CR -SVB Distributes Maternity Aid

Following an initiative by Mrs. Nimali Ranathunga, Chairperson of the Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (CR-SVB), 28 pregnant spouses of Other Ranks and Civil Servants received basic maternity essentials on 17 June 2024.
