One notable initiative involved the repair of a dilapidated house for a deserving family in the Panaluwa area. The project began on 15 February 2024, following the recommendations of the Grama Niladhari of the area, and completed on 29 May 2024 under the direction of the President of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Seva Vanitha Unit.
