56 Infantry Division Organises Eye Clinic

The troops of the 56 Infantry Division organised an eye clinic at Pandri Kethakulam School premises on 02 June 2024. The event benefited 366 visually impaired patients who underwent eye check-ups and 138 reading glasses were provided in the first stage of this community-oriented programme. Additionally, 45 patients were referred for cataract surgeries after evaluation by an eye specialist. Troops also provided refreshments to the patients screened at the medical camp.
