MIR Conducts a Special Shramadana Campaign

The Troops of Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR) organized a Special Shramadana Campaign to clean the bund of Ibbankatuwa reservoir, under the guidance of Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna) and the Colonel of the Regiment of MIR with the close supervision of Brigadier A.K Peiris RSP, the Centre Commandant of MIR on 07 September 2024 coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army.

55 Infantry Division Hosts Beauty Culture Workshop

Under the guidance of Major General R.K.N.C Jayawardene RSP ndc, the General Officer Commanding of 55 Infantry Division, a Beauty Culture Workshop was organized with the supervision of Colonel D.M.V.V Dissanayake ato, the Colonel Admin and Quartering of 55 Infantry Division with the cooperation of Nature’s Beauty Creations Ltd at the RS Green Barathi Resort, Killinochchi on 07 September 2024.

12 Infantry Division Troops Assisted Maur Methsewana Temple

In response to a request from the Chief Incumbent of Maura Methsewana Temple, conveyed through the District Secretary of Hambantota, Major General P.K.W.W.M.J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division, troops of 12 Infantry Division assisted in the plastering and painting of the newly constructed wall surrounding the temple premises.

11 SLNG Constructs a New Home for Needy Family

Troops of the 11 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) constructed a new house for a needy family in Madawalalanda, Ampara. This project was carried out under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division, and the supervision of the Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade, and Major H.P.C. Hettiarachchi, Commanding Officer of the 11 SLNG.
