16 GR Conducted a Donation Programme

A significant donation programme was held on 20 December 2024 to support 18 residents of “Nirmala Maatha” Senior Citizens’ Home, located in the Wanathavilluwa Divisional Secretariat Division in Puttalam District.

Troops of 16 GR Conduct Tree Planting Programme

Under the guidance of Brigadier K.A.D.T.P. Wimalasena RWP RSP, Commander of 143 Infantry Brigade, and the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 16 Gajaba Regiment (GR), the troops conducted a Mangrove planting programme at Kalpitiya, Amothattam area on 13 December 2024.

3 (V) SLSR Builds New House for a Needy Family

A new house was built by the troops of the 3 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) for a needy family in Mandaramnuwara, Hanguranketha, with sponsorship from philanthropists in the area.

Christmas Spirit Shared at CIMIC Park by 51 Infantry Division

Under the guidance of Major General M.P.N.A Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding of the 51 Infantry Division, a community programme to mark the dawn of Christmas 2024 was held on 12 December 2024 at the CIMIC Park premises.

Renovation of Ambalama at Sacred Sripadasthana Completed

The troops of the 19 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG), in collaboration with the Engineer Services Regiment, successfully completed the renovation of the Ambalama located in the Seethagangula area of the Sacred Sripadasthana Mountain Temple. The project was conducted under the guidance of Major H.G.K.H Gunarathne, Overlooking Commanding Officer of the 19 SLNG.

Troops of MIR Assist in Refurbishing General Hospital Dambulla

On the request of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the General Hospital Dambulla, troops of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR), under the guidance of Major General W.M.S.C.K. Wanasinghe RSP USP, the General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment MIR, provided workforce assistance to refurbish the pediatric ward of the hospital.

Troops of 11 (V) SLSR Conduct Donation Programme

The troops of the 11 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment conducted a dry ration pack donation program in collaboration with Manusath Derana and Dialog in Paladiwaththa on 1 December 2024, at the District Secretariat Office.

Troops of the 14 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) constructed a new house for a needy family in Hulannuge under the supervision of Major H.P. Perera, the overlooking Commanding Officer of the 14 SLSR.

233 Infantry Brigade Conducts Donation Programme in Vakarei

Under the guidance of Major General W.P. Kariyawasam, General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division, and the supervision of Colonel S.L. Wijesinghe USP IG, the Commander of the 233 Infantry Brigade, the troops of 233 Infantry Brigade, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society Branch - Batticaloa, conducted a donation programme on 30 November 2024.

51 Infantry Division Conducts Kopay Cup Football Tournament – 2024
