A solemn military funeral was held on 30 June 2025 at the new crematorium of the General Cemetery, Borella, to bid farewell to the late Major General T.A Peiris (Retd) ptsc. The ceremony was attended by a large gathering of military personnel, dignitaries, and mourners who came together to honour the distinguished officer’s service to the nation.
Brigadier A.P.D Edirisuriya (Retd) KSV, Passes away on 28 June 2025 after a brief illness at his residence. He was 86 years old at the time of his demise.
